Reverse Cellular Phone Detective Database Review

SUBJECT LINE: Can I get a reverse phone lookup for free?

Hey,

We all like free don't we? I do too. But when it comes to these reverse phone lookup services, free isn't always what it cracks up to be.

The expression "you get what you pay for" has never been more relevant for such services.

Why?

Because when you're looking for a free reverse cell phone directory, you will find some pseudo-directories promising to allow free cell phone lookups.

However, they're usually just websites that allow you to lookup the carrier or issuing location of a phone number (not the owner).

If you want land lines only, free is possible...but you won't find many mystery callers calling from a standard land line (most use a cell phone).

So why should I PAY for this information?

Good question. It's the same one I had too. Here's the deal:

Because there are plenty of free directories for landlines, many folks assume that the same should be the case for cell phones.

Sadly there is a big difference...land lines such as your home phone is considered public domain information. That's always been the case, which means that nobody has to pay you or ask your permission to publish or share it around.

I know, it sucks...I hate telemarketers as much as you do.

On the other hand, cell phone numbers are generally more private, since you're charged for every call you receive, including telemarketers you don't want to talk to (although it's illegal for them to call your cell phone without permission!).

That's why cell phone numbers are typically harder to trace back for caller ID info.

Whilst over the years there have been plans on the table for several companies to collaborate and contribute into producing a cell phone directory, nothing has ever materialized...and no news that it ever will, because of this continued concern about telemarketers grabbing hold of your mobile number!

However, such a database of numbers is still possible to create...but as you can imagine, it takes a LOT of labour, time and money to do independently.

That's because it's all compiled manually from millions of different records.  And because it takes so much work, no one is able to offer this service for free.

There is one particular service which stands out as having one of the most comprehensive and accurate reverse phone search databases on the Internet. To find out what I think of them and whether they're really worth the money or not, visit <a href="http://cell-phone-owner.com/phonedetectivereview>phonedetective.com review</a>  and see the in-depth review of these "so called" experts.
